Introduction

Introduction The artwork in the final year of this degree continues the chief interest that has emerged in my work over the last 3 years of study, each project generally reflecting an element of narrative and storytelling, visually communicated to the viewer. Each of these projects that make up the course differ in the subject matter they explore and method in which they are presented. The projects are as follows: Personal project An extended project centring around a subject and format of our own choosing. ‘En Plein Air’ Course Project One of several possible projects proposed by college, focusing on reportage and observation concentrated within a specific environment. Macmillan Prize - External project Developing a 32 page children’s book, primarily a submission of sketches but with examples of finished visuals.
